WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE TO WORKING IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY?

From a marketing point of view, the AEC industry is not necessarily one I would have pursued at the onset of my career. Yet here I am – quite by accident thanks to being in the right place, with the right skill set, at the right time 31 years ago. During my career, I’ve been fortunate to have worked within all three AEC fields. After starting out with an engineering company, I then moved on to a construction firm and am now at DIGroup Architecture, an award-winning minority-owned firm based in New Brunswick, N.J., where I spearhead the firm’s marketing and business development initiatives.
