What is the most important skill you have developed in your career?

The most important skill I’ve developed in my career is the ability to understand the objective on hand, and to speak to people intelligently and get the point across. So much gets lost in translation and can dilute the efforts put in place by all parties, that’s why I believe being a strong communicator is such an important skill to have.

Who has been the most influential person in your career?

My mentor and friend, Frank Spinozza, is hands down the most influential person in my career. I can honestly say I learned from the best. He leads by example with a strong work ethic and has the ability to manage work and people with dedication and compassion. Frank has been my mentor almost my whole career here at RCC, from showing me how to write a professional letter, to sharing with me all the technical knowledge along the way. He is always supportive of my career and personal developments, and spends extra time to see it through. There is not enough space here for me to continue to sing his praises, but I wouldn’t be where I am today without his support.

How has your involvement with PWC NJ influenced your career?

Like all the other jobs out there, there’s up moments and down moments; but with the involvement of this organization, I get to meet so many successful women with big jobs and it’s so inspiring to me to think that I can one day be like them too! It’s always a pick-me-upper whenever I attend events and read about the members and it’s always a morale booster.
